Mr. Lamin JK Sanneh holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and an Associate CIB UK.
Mr. Sanneh is the CEO of LIMA CAPITAL; a Financial Consulting Firm. He was the Executive Director of Finance and Investment for Hashi Energy Holdings DMCC, overseeing all the financial aspects of the business, and driving Group’s financial strategy and planning. Prior to Hashi Energy Holdings, he worked at Gambia OIC Secretariat as Chief Executive on Technical Assistance responsible for Coordination and Mobilization of Resources and Implementation of Projects for the OIC Summit in the Gambia.
He worked with SS Lootah International Investment Group as Head of STF responsible for originating and structuring SSLIG’s product offering from existing as well as new clientele in the target markets by initiating discussions around their needs and requirements.
Mr. Sanneh worked with Commodity Connect DMCC Dubai as Chief Executive Officer responsible for the implementation of CDMCC’s strategies for market penetration, expansion, and deal origination in the designated regional market, providing Middle Office Services for banks on Structure Trade deals on and off-balance-sheet financing.
He worked with Ecobank as Regional Treasurer East Africa responsible for the treasury business with oversight responsibility for trade growth across East Africa covering Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and Ethiopia. He served as an Executive Director for Ecobank Sierra Leone responsible for Treasury and Corporate Banking. Prior that appointment, he was the Group Head of Treasury Sales for Ecobank Group, a business he developed and grew into being one of the key revenue lines for the Group.
Mr. Sanneh also worked with Islamic Development Bank as Assistant General Manager; Head of Sub Sahara Africa responsible for implementing ITFC’s Middle Africa Strategy for market penetration, deal origination, and client relationships, overseeing the end-to-end implementation of the upstream investment process, developing a depth understanding of the target countries and sections which serve as focus areas for ITFC’s export/import financing.
He also worked with Standard Chartered Bank as Associated Director FX Sales responsible for working with businesses to conceptualize, develop and design a marketing plan for new products. He also developed a productive working relationship with each customer’s decision-makers for Global Markets products, through regular planned calling, visits, and entertainment.
